"This accommodation is fresh and new with an historic lodge built by a well known local identity in the 'logging camp' architectural style. The views are lovely and the location is excellent for looking around a very scenic area of Tasmania. Hiking trails are very close. My suggestions would be to hook up the hot water to the sink in the bathroom and ad a second firelighter and a bit more wood so that the yurt/tent could be heated quickly in the morning. "After a long drive from Strahan it was such a delight to get to our room at the Masden. Had a front room with a view of the water. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with some added extras like a spa bath and microwave. Easy access, lots of street parking and little cafes to eat at close by. "
