Conveniently located between Hood River and the Dalles which was perfect for our needs. Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The views and comfort compensated for a few things that need to be addressed. Batteries need to be replaced in the remotes, we looked for back-ups and could not find any....

"This home is even prettier in person! It also has all the bells and whistles! Warm floors, very clean, so much gathering space, fully stocked, beautiful colors. It was an amazing place for our four families with a variety of kid ages! (The train goes by several times each day, but it really is charming!!!) Take the fam to the cute little town of Stevenson! The communication with host was great. Others have mentioned the temperature control issues. It must have been fixed because we had no issue. Doors and stairs were squeaky. "

"Ernesto and Marcela’s place was in pristine conditions, their response was always fast and polite, and location couldn’t be better. We will definitely consider coming back to admire the Gorge’s view from their guest house. Our only suggestion is to switch to softer pillows or have an alternative to choose from. Lorena . "

"This was a comfortable place for our mini reunion, not fancy but nice, and not too far from downtown (probably too far for walking). We each got our own bedroom with comfy beds, the living room had plenty of furniture for lounging, and the adequately stocked kitchen was perfect for our needs, not to mention the hospitable basket of snacks. Due to lots of rain we never made it to the hot tub though had looked forward to that. We’d stay here again!"

"It's lovely place with enough space for all of us including a small dachshund. The hardwood floors have the "lived in" look which is nice and cozy. The unique seating in the kitchen, bottles, surfboards gave a wonderful "hang loose" feel. The not so wonderful poop in the yard upon arrival was a shock but not a big thing, especially since we are asked and should clean up after our dog, The biggest issue for us was the driveway.
