Quaint hotel located in the heart of Hood River. Walkable to many bars, restaurants. Cozy lobby you can enjoy a drink, but bar and restaurant only open breakfast and lunch, was hoping to get an evening drink. Heating system needs an update, we knew it was a older hotel but when you're staying in during winter time it was much to cold. Also no parking for guest. Street parking or the lot by the train.

Did a girls weekend here and it was amazing! The restaurant had the best breakfast I’ve ever had and everything was so close! Live music by the fire and great customer service!! It’s not a question of if we go back it’s when!!

You have to take into account Hood River Hotel’s historic nature. It isn’t a modern 5 star hotel but its charm brings it back to 5 star status. Staff was very friendly and courteous - they directed me just up the street to Tango Whiskey bar for “ the best burger in town “. I didn’t get a burger but opted instead for their prime rib French Dip. I’m 72 and it was hands down the best French dip I’ve ever had!

I like the rustic authentic part of the hotel with its historic nature along with the room decorating the memories. The parking was awkward, and the access to great restaurants were few and in between. Overall, the bed and room was fine albeit the floor was tilted or not level. During my stay, there was loud construction outside. Parking was a bit of a task. There was a parking lot down the hill for $15 a day...not free like many hotels. Prepare yourselves for costs that you may not expect. Overall, not terrible for one person. Not recommended for a Valentine's day getaway : )
