"The property is rustic French and was perfectly OK in that milieu, but the external features were disappointing. The hedges were not cut and we’re untidy. The grass surrounding had not been cut and it generally did not look as smart as the web images suggested. I enjoyed my visit and as a pied-a-terre it was fine, but the owners need to improve the exterior. Having said all that I enjoyed my stay and only mention these concerns to help the owners."

"This gite is in a glorious mountain location with beautiful views and the sound of the bells on the sheep grazing nearby. We had a warm and generous welcome, enjoyed the practical, warm and comfortable accommodation and explored the locality. It was a wonderful week amongst friends and we plan to return as soon as we can!"

"The place is great; modern, American style town homes. Everything you need and location is perfect for that area of the Basque country as long as you have a car. Beware though if you need good wifi, there is only one router for several units and if all units are rented, the wifi becomes extremely slow. Le logement est au top, avec sa petite terrasse et son espace vert pour se prélasser au soleil après la cure ou les visites. Au calme et à 5mn du centre de Cambo. "The property fell short of its 4 star rating and our expectations. The lighting in the kitchen/main room did not work. The hot water in the shower was exhausted rather quickly. Most unpleasant was the presence of mosquitos and the lack of air-conditioning as the temperature reached 38C on the day when we arrived. "
