"We enjoyed every moment of our four day stay in Oloron Saint Marie. It is a charming small town with great restaurants and roads that wind up the hill to the apartment, which is in one of the houses that ring a plaza. On the street circling the plaza is a very good restaurant and a grocery. The apartment is small but is modern, lovely, and designed for every comfort you'd hope for. "The property is rustic French and was perfectly OK in that milieu, but the external features were disappointing. The hedges were not cut and we’re untidy. The grass surrounding had not been cut and it generally did not look as smart as the web images suggested. I enjoyed my visit and as a pied-a-terre it was fine, but the owners need to improve the exterior. Having said all that I enjoyed my stay and only mention these concerns to help the owners."

We had a warm and generous welcome, enjoyed the practical, warm and comfortable accommodation and explored the locality. "The place is great; modern, American style town homes. Everything you need and location is perfect for that area of the Basque country as long as you have a car. Beware though if you need good wifi, there is only one router for several units and if all units are rented, the wifi becomes extremely slow.
