"Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!"

"Stopped here for the first time last night, for work, and what a lovely place it was to. Staff were extremely polite and the service was excellent throughout my stay. My room while not the largest I've stayed in was of a good size. A pleasing item in the room was a small flask containing real milk for a good old cupper, this is a rare find as most times you stop way they only provide that terrible hit milk, that spoils you first tea of the day. "We arrived early but checking in was no problem. Very nice people. Food was nice too. Unfortunately we weren't too hungry so didn't get to sample the wonderful breakfast we read about. But the poached eggs were perfect. We stayed in a cabin which had everything you need for a short stay. It was warm and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would say is the basin in the shower room was so small and awkward to use when brushing your teeth. A small niggle. Shower was fine, and very large. "

"Just perfect, We were not sure when we booked as it was just a place to stay while we visited friends, but if we are in the area we will go back the accommodation was spotlessly clean.
