"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "Poor maintenance of the property "

"Had a great stay. Breakfast was great and the one meal we had was delicious. I'm a coeliac and they were very helpful. Had a delicious icecream sundae for pudding. The staff were amazing .Kieran and all the girls were lovely. We've stayed a few years and have noticed room's have gone a bit tired and bathroom needs regrouting . But a lovely stay as always. Can't say enough how great the staff are. "

"We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. "The single room room 1. Was a good size with sink and balcony door open to key breeze through. .the staff were great and very attentive. They gave me a fridge as i was there 1 week.. I appreciated that. I WOULD Definitely use lyndhurst again"

"It was a nice room, tastefully decorated. Comfy bed, clean white bedding. Nice clean white towels. Great pressure from the shower head, plenty of hot water. Radiators were on when I arrived, so lovely and warm in the room. Fridge, microwave, utensils, breakfast bar with tall stools. TV all good."

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "When we arrived the owners came to great us. Very friendly, explained everything very well. Room was perfect with a lovely view. Bed comfortable, breakfast was amazing and great selection. Loved the fan on the wall. Only bad thing i would say is upgrade the pillows, uncomfortable, even with 2. Room was hot even with the fan on the wall. "

Great stay

"We booked a sea view room and were upgraded to the suite - lovely room, comfy king size bed and nicely furnished. Spacious and clean with lots of windows overlooking the sea front. Up a couple of flights of stairs which was no problem for us but something to be aware of as there is no lift. Breakfast was included and was possibly the best quality hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time. High quality bacon and sausages And perfectly cooked eggs plus hand cut fresh bread. Superb. Breakfast area was also a restaurant open for lunch & dinner - nicely decorated and clean and fresh. Great decor and vibe although I can’t comment on other food as we only had breakfast here. The guy who served breakfast was really friendly and chatty - also covered the reception. The girl who checked us in the evening before was also friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again"
