"Unique location on Cox Bay Beach. Great surfing, our surf lesson with Mia and as amazing. Staff on reception were polite but a little less effusive than I expected. The place has a casual vibe and I think it’s important not to let casual bleed into apathy. Dining staff were for the most part charming and attentive as we have come to expect from Canadian hospitality. It’s a great hotel overall, comfy, cosy rooms with plenty to do in the local area. "
