"This was our 3rd time staying at Deer Ridge. I miss the friendly, helpful faces at the front desk. It looks like some of the condos have been taken over and they are redoing and updating them. Our friends condo looked like the door had been busted in and a real pair attempted. They had difficulty opening their door and being able to use all of the locks. Our condo was well equipped, the bed could have had a little more cushion but everything was clean. The room was spacious and while the stove...

"The bathroom had multiple long black hair strands on the floor. Every time I'd pick some up I'd see more. When I went to shower the following morning I found another one in the tub. There was way too much hair for a bathroom that should have been thoroughly cleaned. It was really disgusting. "

Tucked away in serenity

"Our stay here was regrettably too short. Lisa was super easy to work with and she communicated quickly. The creek behind the cabin's wraparound porch was delightful and spring was starting to awaken in the budding trees and plants. We all enjoyed the lovely pasture views beyond the creek too. The house was comfy and well-equipped (thanks for the starter coffee pods!) We traveled with three teenagers, so the furniture in the ground floor child's bedroom felt a bit small (short futon and bed) but everyone managed. We enjoyed having a library of board games to play. All in all a great place for a peaceful family escape!"

Wooded Setting - Mountain Stream - Real Fireplace - Privacy

"Gorgeous location in the forest among the Hemlocks and Rhododendrons, babbling creek 20 feet from wrap-around porch. We used the hot tub constantly. There was a burn ban in place due to high winds so we did not use the fire pit but could tell it would have been amazing. Kitchen, bath, bedrooms all immaculate and new. Everything about the stay exceeded my expectations."

Four Bedroom Cabin in Cosby,TN. Very Private with Beautiful Views of the Smokies

Family Time Again

"This cabin was wonderful and we loved it. It is in a great location and had a nice view. The rooms were spacious and the beds were good. The kitchen was spacious and had all we needed to cook our meals. The hot tub was a hit with the kids but we couldn't find the plug for the jacuzzi upstairs so it went unused. It would have been nice to have another television to separate the adults from the kids but we made it work. There were two things that weren't like the listing, one minor and one major. The minor was the furniture because it showed multiple recliners so that was a bummer. The major was the bunkroom because it didn't have a door to the house. You had to go outside to get in and there was no way we were letting out 8 and 9 year old stay out there by themselves. That could have been a disaster for other renter but luckily we had a blow up mattress and they slept in one of the rooms upstairs. Other than that our trip was what we were looking for. We would stay again. "
