"Wonderful cabin perfect for our family to enjoy a wintery escape from the city. Easy access right off the highway, but felt nestled away in a small and quiet neighborhood. Close to all the action of Government camp. Enjoyed snowshoeing and visiting the nearby sledding area. House was very comfortable and great setup of bedrooms and bathrooms. Bonus to have some simple play things for our youngest (1 year) as well as some snow shoes and sleds for the older kids. Wish we could have stayed...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Big Buck Lodge. This is the prefect place for a weekend getaway where you have plenty of space on a beautfiul property. The house was clean and the accomodations were nice making the weekend very enjoyable. I would recommend a stay here for a ski weekend or in the summer a place to get out and explore Mt. "Each year our kids, their spouses and our 7 grandkids go to Mt. Hood so they can Snowboard and ski . Although we do get together at Christmas time - this trip is the bulk of the gifts we give to them . This year we chose to stay here - and everyone said this was the best place yet ! Good location(though I felt a little close to hey 26 - BUT that can be a plus cause then you don’t have far to drive on snowy back roads . Nice hot tub in a forested setting . We had a great time "
