"Warm and welcoming, clean and well equipped. At last a property with plenty of cutlery and crockery! We had a very comfortable stay. The location was stunning, too. "

Appreciated milk left for us as we didn't know if any shops nearby (no none) We came by public transport as car was in for repair so couldn't pack food. but got a taxi to the restaurant we were visiting. If we visit again we will come by car as think it is necessary, We had a good stay on the whole and the Alpacas were really sweet. "

"Mill cottage is a very cosy and comfortable cottage in a quiet and peaceful village just a pity could not stay longer The cottage was perfectly clean and very well equipped The welcome pack was very much appreciated as we didn’t arrive until late on but Alastair the owner had heating on and outside light on for us arriving Very accommodating host"

"We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

"Outstanding!! Place is lovely and comfy and well decorated. Kitchen and house is well stocked and views are nice. Parking next door is restaurant car park is easy. Communication and access was easy and good. "

"We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. The view is spectacular and the area is very quiet and peaceful. It’s easy access to motorways, but feels miles away. Yvonne was a responsive, gracious host. "We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was clean, well stocked and on a quiet street. The host communicated before our arrival and the details and instructions were easy to understand. The cottage was less than a 10 minute walk to the town square. A bit of a hill coming back to the cottage but not difficult at all. Hebden Bridge is a beautiful village and when we come back, we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks Nic!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Robin's Nest while visiting family in the area. The owners were quick to respond to an issue with the heating and were very helpful. The bungalow was warm and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen; the washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful. We found the double bed slightly on the small side."

"A very pleasant experience staying at this hotel. Once we entered we were greeted by some very friendly Staff who helped us check in. The room itself was lovely too. Plenty of pillows, towels and a lovely selection of teas and coffee. The room was clean and to a good standard. We enjoyed our visit and would happily come back."

"Great airport location for early departure flights out of Manchester - I had to be at the airport by 4am and this was a good location choice being just a short walk to the terminal. Everything about it was comfortable and easy. Lovely room, accommodating staff around food allergies at the restaurant and friendly, professional service."

Great Hotel with Pleasant Staff

"Nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. Room was basic but modern, don't care much for the bare concrete ceiling though, doesn't really work for a hotel room as you expect it to feel homely and cosy and bare concrete doesn't do this. Otherwise room was comfortable though. Food was good."

"Ive stayed at thia property a number of times over the last 5 years or so - mainly because it is so central, yet reasonably priced. However,i have really noticed massive upgrades in the way the hotel has been managed in my last two stays, and improvements in the general standards of decor etc - though it remains affordale and good value for money. "
