"Clean hotel, friendly staff. The night we stayed they had a water main break but they kept us updated throughout the process. They had to close their restaurants so that was disappointing because The Trophy Room was why we stayed there. Appreciated the 11amxheckput!"

"Always have a wonderful stay, the staff is really nice and try hard to make things wonderful. This is a older hotel and with that comes lots of character. They are slowly renovating rooms so be patient with them. Small town with a cute hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Birdshack. There was plenty of room for our group of 20, lots of comfortable seating in 3 different living spaces.There was plenty of room for dining, too. Most bedrooms were good size with comfortable beds. The big pantry closet in the kitchen was great for all are food. The grandkids enjoyed all the games, including the pool table .The walk to the water on the sidewalk is a bit steep but doable if you take it slow. The porches on the back were nice, including the screened in area. A great place for a family vacation."

"The house was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were a perfect fit, the location unbeatable, and the space big enough for all activities and making great memories. The Host was very helpful and available. Many of our family members mentioned coming back in the summer."

"Loved the place, perfect for our family. Everything was as listed would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful spot on the lake. My only complaint would be since we were there when it was cold, more than one tv would’ve been nice. I know it’s a lake house but in the colder months a tv down stairs would be nice. outside of that everything else was perfect."
