"Brilliant location for visiting all the main attractions in Bury St Edmunds. Was warmly welcomed by our host and they were flexible about check in times and us leaving the car in their car park before check in. Had a lovely quiet room which was warm and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Breakfast was great, with a good selection. Would definitely stay here on future visits to the area."

"This was basic accommodations with friendly service. The property is dated rough around the edges, but was very competitively priced. It was a pleasant walk to downtown. We would probably stay again but can’t give it high marks aside from value and location. "

"It was good experience overall, nice, clean good size room, comfortable bed and pillows. Person who checks the room helped me to find way to main door and my room, helped me with code to doors. Only on first night I had issue with noise from banging doors, even I had earplugs. Also no soap in bath. Just waiting for my 50 pounds to be returned for security deposit. "

"Our stay with Guido and Maria was wonderful. They were both incredibly welcoming, and it was heart warming to experience such genuine hospitality. Guido is an excellent host, and Maria’s award-winning breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Their hard work and attention to detail were evident throughout our visit—our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully arranged with little touches that made our stay so enjoyable. "Doesn’t look great from the outside but fine inside as long as you’re not in one of the “upper floor” rooms of this dormer bungalow type house. Low sloped ceilings. Not ideal for a tall person. Facilities very good, plenty of equipment in the kitchen and a nice sun room were you can eat your meals."

"This was a great property - really clean, great location, comfortable beds and clean towels etc. The property was a little "sparse" for my taste - not too homey feeling, but it was so clean and had everything that was needed. i would certainly stay again. The communication with the team House Luchini was fantastic - they were proactive and always answered any communication in a very short time. I was really impressed. "

"The location was pretty nice, being central to the Bury St. Edmunds town center. The location of the room was very difficult to find because the navigation apps we used put us far away from the actual room. We luckily found a mailman who took us to the right location. Other than that, the room was alright and comfortable enough. I’m not too sure it was entirely worth the cost, but it was alright. I’ll say 7/10."

"Brilliant place. Really lovely, modern decor. Rooms were great. Breakfast was outstanding. The pool/sauna is small, but fine. Gym is also small but with good equipment. There’s a bus and train station within the grounds of the hotel, so super convenient for transport into the city. There’s also a co-op shop, inclusive of Costa, on site. We travelled with kids and they were well looked after by the hotel. Also saw a lot of dogs around the place"

"Low stress overnight trip. We took a chance on an early check in and the team were calm and relaxed and were very helpful, we booked breakfast which was superb value and utterly delicious- great veggie breakfast and good coffee and extras available. We stayed in a lodge room, which was perfectly adequate- comfy bed and free WiFi. A few areas to improve from a decorative point of view but a good value and relaxing stay. "
