"Great cottage stay in a great town! Jayne was very accommodating and 77 was just as advertised. The stairs are steep and both bedrooms are on the second floor, but they are carpeted and well lit so it wasn’t a problem for us. Really loved Lavenham, amazing history and very friendpeople. "

"Lovely little cottage, perfect location with walking distance to the town centre (10/15mins), had a lovely weekend celebrating my partners birthday just what we needed to have a break and relax. The cottage was lovely especially the fire in the evenings as it got a bit chilly in the cottage, we really enjoyed our stay"

"Perfect accommodation for a short break. Upstairs is decorated to a good standard in modern style. Everything you need. Kitchen/lounge/diner area. Very cosy and relaxing. Quite big bedroom with double bed and comfortable mattress. Downstairs at bottom of stairs is the toilet and a wet room with shower and under floor heating. Lovely and warm and nice decor. We used the accommodation for a two night stay so we could visit family nearby. Absolutely ideal. Just friendly and helpful. Thank you. "

"Lovely log fire, which made it very Christmassy. Host was very welcoming and flexible about check in.Great kitchen space with a good range of cooking pots and pans.Ely is within walking distance with a lovely market a couple of days per week: some great local produce.The cathedral was lovely and with a short walk to the riverside. Great fish and chips and some lovely pubs."

"This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember."

"A short relaxing break. Barn was well equipped and comfortable. Weather was a bit disappointing so never got to sit outside on the smart patio. The grounds exceeded our expectations and enjoyed the private space. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Green! The cottage is beautiful with its thatched roof, ceiling beams and big fireplace. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you might need & a lovely private garden to enjoy the summer evenings. Communication with Tracy was excellent. She made sure we had everything we needed and provided some brilliant personalised recommendations for things to do/happening in the local area. The cottage is located conveniently for lots of attractions...

"An interesting mix of comfortable, quaint, shabby chic and just plain shabby makes this cottage challenging to review! Overall, I was disappointed and felt that getting a few minor repairs done and providing better quality towels and bed linen would have made all the difference. On the plus side, it’s in a pretty village very near to the National Trust property of Oxborough Hall and has plenty of space for a couple or a small family, including a small garden. I stayed in March during a cold...

"Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night."
