"Nice property with plenty of space. We stayed in winter but the deck would obviously be lovely in summer! Parking is available but is tricky and not ideal if you have a van - up a steep ramp and then requires reversing down a narrow lane to get out. Not impossible but not easy! There is parking in the village which was easily accessible when we stayed. "

"Beautifully converted stable in a beautiful landscape, the view from the kitchen/livingroom is gorgeous and the night sky is breathtaking. If one wants to get away from the hectic of a big city to slow down and relax, this is your place. We stayed for four days and totally enjoyed ourselves there. "

"Great property. The view was amazing. Plenty of space and very warm. Well equipped. Everything was simple to use and worked well. Nice pub 2 minutes walk up the road and a little shop/cafe right next door. Perfect! Only minor point was that the bed was a bit soft and the pillows could be larger. But very minor. "

It has everything you need to enjoy a holiday close to the beach, including a shed to store your beach gear/boards and an outside shower to wash down your wetsuits. An observation is that one of the single beds in the twin room is shorter than 'standard' size, so if you're a party of tall people someone's feet may stick out of the bed!"

"Really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, surprised how big the property was and how much space we had. Loved the en suite and wardrobe space in the main bedroom. Had a very homey feel with all the extra touches as oppose to a hotel room with just the basics. All of which made a very comfortable stay. The bed was very comfy! "My three brothers and I had a wonderful week at Truck House. It was perfect for us. Mark and Fiona have equipped the cottage with pretty much everything you'd need and my expectations were exceeded over and over. The garden is lovely and we hung out a lot in the conservatory and kitchen. I absolutely recommend this place if you're wanting a quiet place to stay while exploring the area."
