"If you love nature, quiet and are fit enough to climb stairs to a loft to sleep, this is a wonderful place to settle in while exploring Ithaca and surrounds. I came to the region specifically to take carpentry classes at Hammerstone (which were fantastic) and we wanted a quiet homebase to rest, relax and really get a feel for the area. The cabin is well built, pretty amazing, and heats up beautifully (it was April, still chilly - had one snowfall!). Wifi was perfect, showers hot, bed comfy. We loved it! "Everything would have been perfect if the staff had not said a word to us and charged us an extra fee. At first we didn't understand why and then I read on the website that it turns out that you have to pay extra for prevarication with a dog. It would be good to tell hotel guests about it."
