"I think this must be a great property in the summer. I do think it should either not be rented in the winter or more actively maintained for winter conditions. I will definitely recommend to anyone but personally won’t stay here again for what might seem a minor reason- no curtains closed completely and I felt Very vulnerable and was woken up so early. "

"Nice house. Second time we’ve stayed there (12/20). Easy access to wineries. Plenty of room for ten adults. Amenities were good. We would stay there again.One negative; there were some ants in the kitchen on a counter and on the floor. Not a lot, but noticeable. "

"We had an amazing bachelorette weekend for a soon to be bride! The rental gave a perfect cottagey vibe with cute decorations and beautiful lakeside views. We enjoyed all sitting around the large dining room table and using the fire pit on the patio, as well as cooking on the grill for dinner! My only suggestion would be to include at least one full length mirror in the main house, and designated hampers for used towels. We had so much fun and really hope to visit again!!"

"The house location was beautiful. We loved waking up to the view of the lake. Super quiet and serene. Ed and Robin were wonderful hosts. Very communicative and helpful with local information and suggestions. They were ready to assist whenever needed. Unfortunately the weather kept us from taking advantage of their kayaks but they were all available for use. Wonderful stay!"

"I never say this.... but we will be back. Our getaway was fridgid but beautiful and waking up to that view of the lake was amazing. We were warm and cozy indoors. We also hottubbed in a snow shower. The house was perfect with many thoughtful details. "

"We had an amazing stay at Sunset Oasis! We were able to check in early on Thanksgiving, and on that day, my boyfriend proposed! We took a long walk and were in hot tub and had champagne with the Christmas lights on! We had our kids there for a day, and made a special dinner. At night, the water and waves lapped up and we never slept so good. It was a magical stay I will never forget!"

"My wife and I stayed for two nights, comfortable house with interesting gardens. House was very clean. Did not matter to us but second bedroom has very low ceiling. Main bedroom had nice mattress. Easy check in and was nice and warm with lights on when we arrived which was a nice touch. Clearly they make an effort to make your stay comfortable as they can. Even a little toilet paper flower in the spare roll. "

"Had a wonderful weekend trip with my boyfriend and our dog. Clean house with all of the amenities. Short ride to Aurora (cute small town) and 1/2 hour to Ithica (hiking and city). Corner store and a couple of wineries nearby. Would definitely stay again when we can use the lake, but enjoyed the sunsets and beautiful mornings. "

"The house clean and details provided about the listing were very accurate. My wife enjoyed jetted tub. Location was excellent and easy to get following directions and information about the roads near cottage. The fenced in yard for dogs was very convenient . We only stayed one day and it rained but would be an excellent spot to view a beautiful sunset that the area is known for . "

"The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!"

"We were visiting family in Trumansburg for Thanksgiving and needed extra room for our large party. This cottage worked out perfectly - it was plenty warm, the backyard and patio are private and lovely, and the cottage is spacious with helpful features (great buffet shelving near large dining table). We would love to return! Thank you so much to our hosts for the well appointed cottage and convenient location to Trumansburg (and Ithaca - just depends which way you want to go on 89)!"
