"This property is in a rural village that has both artisan works (e.g. weavings) along with a proximity to the Sanctuary of Chimayo. There is an excellent restaurant nearby at Rancho Chimayo. Local artwork is on display at the property and they can guide you to nearby places of interest. They also have a ton of guide books that you can peruse over a homemade delicious breakfast. "Overall...great experience"

"The charming cottage was a lovely getaway. There were five of us, three in the king and two in the queen (the pull out wasn’t serviceable). We got snow on Christmas Day! This was heightened by the two fireplaces and complementary firewood, a real treat! The hosts are very hands on and communicative, so communicate up front if privacy is desired. Overall a wonderful time, we’d stay again with fewer people. "

"The only thing that could have been better is if I had headed the words of the host, “use his written directions” do NOT use your GPS. We drove in at night, it’s hard to see out there at night. The GPS had us on the other side of the mountain, at the end of a dirt road. The host came out in his truck to come and try to rescue us. Very kind. "

"Stayed one night, in town for personal business. Room was nice, bed a little hard. Air conditioning quiet, same for hallways. No noise problems from adjoining rooms either. Dining choices are all in casino, food was good, but there was a lot of noise from the action on casino floor. Would have preferred one restaurant located somewhere else on property. Overall perceptions were good, have been back to this property several times and would do so again."
