"Ideal stopover and close to all the fantastic sights Troyes has to offer. Couple of niggles- parking was extra (I clearly hadn’t read the info clearly) and it was sooooooo hot in the rooms (naively I thought that this would have been solved since so many people had previously commented on it) Overall, it was good value and well situated."

"Probably the friendliest, most chilled hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff couldn't do enough for you and always very welcoming. The hotel is a beautiful, 16th century building in the old town centre, which is amazing. I was in a room which faced to road so, sometimes, it could be rather noisy, but the streets are very narrow and it's an old building. Only issue I had was a lack of hot water in the evening but it wasn't a major problem. A 2 star hotel which makes up for it in many other ways."

"Beautiful hotel in keeping with the rustic medieval surroundings however clean modern and stylish, the perfect combo! Everyone at the hotel is so lovely too, so helpful and friendly. "

"The hotel is very old and tired. Nothing like the website claims. Does not have a restaurant. Claims to have 2 bars but has 1 limited choice bar. Definitely not for disabled persons as there is no elevator and the stairs are a little awkward."

"A lovely warm welcome. A superb breakfast. An interesting view over the town. A lovely warm room and comfortable bed with ensuite shower and toilet. Quiet, and with powered shutters to make it dark as one could wish."
