"Keswick is such a great town and so well located for hiking and playing in the Lakes. The YHA was lovely and so centrally located on the river by the park. Very well equipped with a great cafe too. My only complaint is that the bedroom doors shut noisily which means you wake with the early risers. All else was perfect"

"What an amazing hostel! Perfect location and lovely building, The panelled lounge full of lovely leather sofas, books and a roaring fire was particularly fine. "Our 2 night break at Daisy lodge was everything we hoped it was. We had been looking forward to our little break away and it did not disappoint. The lovely doggy basket on arrival was great for our 2 little ladies.The lodge is in a lovely setting just a couple of minutes from the lake and the site itself had a lovely little shop snd leisure facilities.We definitely recommend this lodge for a get away from everything."

"The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."
