"I stayed here for 2 nights with my family and booked last minute. Location was great and it was a clean and comfortable stay. If you have any mobility issues however, I wouldn't recommend as we stayed at the top which had narrow steep stairs. Other odd quirks were there was not one bowl in the room or kitchen. Also we booked for 3 people and arrived to a room with a fold out and had to find the bedding. We found a fitted sheet available (but didn't fit the fold out couch properly) and a blanket...

Even though due to illness the reception was unattended with the times stated, but there was an apology notice which had a contact number on which we could ring or message if we had a problem or issue. "Booked this for a wedding at the Harbour Hotel in St Ives. It's about a 30 minute walk if you don't have a car which was fine for us. The room is gorgeous but it does not come with nice shampoo or conditioner, not a huge problem but I assumed it would given the pictures and had to nip out to Tesco to get some. Otherwise it was perfect, amazing bath tub with a view."

"We chose the Love Shack because of it’s proximity to the beach, it is literally a stones throw away! It’s a very cute place to stay and whilst it’s not show house standard you know what you’re getting if you read the description!It’s a good base for exploring Cornwalls delights and you can walk to Falmouth if you’re so inclined. We loved our stay and have already recommended it to friends so if you want a no frills stay at a great price the Love Shack is what you’re looking for. "
