"Be careful driving there- deer are everywhere (at least they were in November!). You’re going to want to get there before check-in time ends if possible. I was there just before a closed and it didn’t get the email. They sent me with the information until much later. The rooms were nice. We did get to see wildlife outside our bedroom window, which was pretty cool. It’s a great location because you can just walk to the caves (be sure to reserve your tickets before trying to enter a cave) and hiking trail trails or catch the bus. The staff at the restaurant on property were friendly and helpful. "

"This house was very cleanly/homey compared to other vrbos we've stayed in. The house was fully stocked with linens, ammenedies, and all the cooking utensils youd need. It was about 38 minutes from Mammoth Cave. The beds are okay more on the stiff side, but still semicomfortable. There is a propane grill (it was dirty from other users so we didnt get a chance to try it). The deck was very nice, you can tell the owners maintain the outdoor and indoor well. You can buy 5 firewood and rent kayaks from the owners as well. Thank you for the stay-Haley and Dom"

"We stayed for 3 nights here to visit Mammoth Cave National Park and the surrounding area. For the price, you can not beat this rental's location and amenities. You are on the edge of the national park and 15 minutes away from the visitor's center (which we visited every day because of how close we were to it). The rental was just what we needed for the two of us. We especially appreciated the extra shampoo and conditioner, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, towels, and blankets. There were also plates, bowls, and utensils available for use, and the host left us a new bottle of dishwashing liquid and a new sponge for washing dishes, which again was very appreciated. We visited in early March, and the temperatures were in the 50s during the day and 30s at night. We felt comfortable with the window unit blowing heat. The refrigerator worked great and kept our food cold. The microwave was also a nice amenity. There is also a space heater available in the unit. The shower was nice and warm, and just enough space. The stars are very visible in this location, and if it were warmer, we would have definitely utilized the firepit and done some stargazing. Also, it is worth mentioning that the neighbor has some cats wandering around, so be careful when driving up and down from the rental. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely rent again if we returned to this area. "

"My wife and I wanted a safe quiet spot to use as home base for a visit to Mammoth Cave. Great location for just that. Clean and dog friendly, it was the off season so no neighbors made it extra quiet for evnings in the hot tub."
