"We had a lovely stay in one of the garden rooms for 2 nights. All staff were really friendly. We had breakfast included which had a good selection and would recommend the porridge! We had two evening meals and they were fresh, tasty and filling. The atmosphere in the dining and lounge areas is relaxing and perfect for us. The location was ideal for us to visit further along the Norfolk coastline and the Broads. This isn’t the first time we have stayed at the Wayford Inn and we we hope to returning again. "

"Absolutely beautiful old hotel in a lovely setting. We have stayed before and we will be back as the rooms are so well decorated and equipped. We have stayed in so many hotels over the years and have never come across rooms so clean and the en-suite as well was immaculate. Staff are amazing and breakfast 1st class. "We stayed as a couple for one night as we were going to the very nearby Norwich arts centre for a gig. The hotel was both classy and cosy, everything was a nice size ( room, bed, bathroom etc), very clean and everything we needed. The building itself is grand, kooky and welcoming. The staff were just incredible and we enjoyed our chats with them....they were very knowledgeable including about the history of the hotel and what else was of interest in the local area. Breakfast was quality ( and we are food snobs as we used to live in France). Really couldn't fault anything. Next time, we'll be back with more time hopefully as we regretted not being able to try out the cocktails at the lovely bar!!"

"We enjoyed a relaxing two-night stay at the Norfolk Mead and were impressed by the attention to detail and service provided. The food - at both breakfast and dinner - was delicious and there was an excellent selection of wine. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with all needs met and a very decent shower. The spa facilities were well designed and perfectly cleaned and maintained. Again, the customer service was spot on. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so special."
