"The main reason to recommend Mama Shelter is their beds. Extremely comfortable! Nice vibe overall. Good plentiful breakfast and very good drinks/food choices for dinner. Staff very helpful and genuinely doing a great job. They have a rooftop bar section that gives one more reason to stay inside the hotel. Highly recommended."

"We liked that the rooms were large and had 2 double beds instead of single beds. The hair dryer was even in the bathroom. They provide shuttle service to/from airport, Vatican, Coliseum, Trastevere for a reasonable price. We used taxi service for other areas. Had nice bar and restaurant and great breakfast buffet. Best of all, they had a nice area for smoking which we appreciated greatly. They have a beautiful spa area but the one downfall for me was the low temperature on the jacuzzi. 30c they said but it felt like pool water to me. I only used once in the 5 days we were there. The steam room was awesome and just right temp. I highly recommend this property."
