"Lovely location, next to a small farm. Great views from the balcony, stars at night were spectacular. Nice waking up to the rooster and cows. Our large dog loved the securely enclosed paddock with a lake in the middle. Extremely cosy and warm cottage."

"The cottage is superbly located to the village. We went on an organised Doc Martin tour which was good fun and very informative. The house was spacious but unfortunately the sheets on both double beds were stained, which was not great as after a long journey, we were very tired and had to sleep on top of the beds for the first night until next day. "Just the most fabulous property in every aspect. Superb communication from owners concerning check-in and also in extremely useful welcome notes in property to support. House is very close to shops and a walkable distance to beaches and town centre. Wonderful stay. Cannot recommend highly enough. "

"It was an absolutely lovely experience and grate place to stay. The most disappointing thing, esotericism on a holiday advertised for kids, is that you can only get 1 hour slots at the pool per day. Yes the pool is emptier when you're there but 1 hour is just not enough! Plus you have to drive to get anywhere else that's kids friendly. So if that changed my rating would improve."

"Had a fab stay in bungalow 69 Great location for our holiday plans We went out of school term so it was very quiet too... Very compact inside but it had everything we needed We didnt use the passes that were there or facilities for Hengar manor but a nice option if needed Only improving thing i would suggest is the bungalow number "69" is moved to a more prominent position as its tucked away high and not easy to see above a hugh bush too .. "We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 6 days in early October. The cottage, although very compact, has everything you need, and more. The hosts have really thought of everything when it comes to facilities for your dogs. The secure exercise field was an absolute favourite with Nougat and Sully, our two bull terriers, they were just so excited to go in there each morning, and last thing each day. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business....

"15 of us stayed at Thurlibeer and all enjoyed the stay. Being January we luckily had one day on Bude beach but table football & pool kept everyone happy in the stormy weather. All beds very comfortable and the house clean & friendly. Chris very helpful."

"We had a fabulous stay at Medrose. Location was great for a walk down to the beach, cafes and ferry to Padstow. Even our children 10,6,5 managed to do it with ease. A well equipped kitchen. The only thing that was that there wasn’t an empty cupboard to put food away. The fridge, I need one in my home. Great size and having extra wine fridge, and mini one in the study was great for drinks, Every spacious house. Games room was a fabulous touch. Decent utility. Having extra toiletries in bathrooms...

"After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! There was even a lovely thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend and the area is stunning too"
