"A very popular pub , restaurant and guest house. I’ve been here three times in the last few months and look for a reservation every time I’m working in the area. Just stayed over a damp wet Wednesday night and the place was bursting which was amazing to see. I recommend booking a table for food as there is not much of a chance to walk in . The rooms are clean & comfortable and has chairs and a desk I can work from if needed. Breakfast which is ordered the night before is wonderful, flavoursome and filling. As before , my first choice when working in the area."

"Lynn and her team were very welcoming and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Being able to charge our EV overnight was also a huge plus. The apartment is ideally suited for short breaks and is not sure whether it wants to be a hotel suite or a self catering venue. That being said we were able to cook a lot of different meals, but a few more cleaning materials and equipment would have been welcome. I was able to borrow a broom from the hotel, and possibly could have borrowed more if I’d asked. Can thoroughly recommend curry night at the pub if you can get there for Thursday night…"

"Property was easy to find ok for a few nights stay . No tv or wifi working as owner was using at another location . Shower had low water pressure and a leak on the hand shower attachment. other than that it was ok."
