"The hotel is on the main road going into Traverse City. The staff members, especially Margie, were fantastic. I loved the cherry coffee available in the lobby 24/7 and the chocolate chip cookies available in the evening. To get to shopping and dining, you needed to drive. "

"This was a good stay. The property was easily found, on the lake, and around many restaurants. We drove out to Mission Point and enjoyed the drive. Our room was large, very clean, and well appointed. My wife judges hotels by bath towels, and Cherry Tree’s were huge and soft. I would say that the shower floor was a bit slick, and perhaps should be addressed. The breakfast was hot and appetizing, with numerous options. Very nice. This property was a value."
