"Very clean, small cabin. Bathroom super small (sit sideways on the toilet small). You are at the mercy of other guests for quiet after dark - if you like to turn in early and others don’t, this set up may not be for you. "

"Our family group of 10 stayed in the Northern Nest for a trip skiing at Crystal Mountain, which is about 12 minutes away. The home is very nice and well laid out for our group size. Nestled into the woods beside the Betsie River, this place is a 10/10! The owner is very quick communicating and was great to work with as well! We will be back this summer to do some kayaking!"

"Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay. This was a surprise birthday trip for my girlfriend and her friends which included two other couples. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money, but also know that my girlfriend enjoys the finer things in life, so I know it needed to be nice. "Stayed with family for a ski trip a few days before Christmas. Kitchen is very well equipped, beds were comfortable, great room with fireplace was warm and cozy. We were very pleased and will rent again !"

"This property was one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed at. My parents accompanied us on our trip and have never considered VRBO properties before. They were so impressed that they are now going to utilize VRBO for their future vacation plans. The home was clean and included everything you need for a great stay, down to the smallest details. "I wish I had known prior that I needed to scan my drivers license, my face and my credit card before I could enter. We sat out in the dark cold for a while. It was sent in an email but I wasn't expecting this kind of pre- check in to look for that.the place was great accept for that hiccup."
