"The hotel itself could not be more perfectly positioned. Local bars. shops and restaurants are only a few minutes walk. You can walk 15 minutes to cross the river in to the main city and be looking at the Pantheon in no time at all. The roof terrace has amazing views and is great for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Every member of staff were polite and attentive. The hotel restaurant also serves fantastic food. If I return to Rome I would not hesitate to book again. "

"I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a city break in Rome. The staff at this hotel could not have been more helpful. They made contact with me within 15 minutes of making my booking, after which I requested twin beds in one of the rooms since my sons were travelling with us. The rooms are clean, and decorated in a modern style, with modern double glazed windows. Tea, coffee, kettle and a fridge (mini bar) also provided in the rooms. The buffet breakfast offers just about everything you could need to set you up for a busy day of sightseeing. The location is extremely convenient for visiting the Vatican and fine for walking to all the attractions in the city. We did not use public transport all week! Would definitely consider booking this hotel again if we return to Rome. "

"The location of the property just outside the the Porta Settimana that enters into Trastevere. Also on the same street that has the entrance to the Corsini Garden. The place is set up with about 5 apartments that have a private bath. Also has a common kitchen with seating area. All the doors are controlled through a portal on the internet. The room I stayed in was huge and had a small balcony over looking an interior garden. The bathroom was also huge. It was quiet at night except for when people sometimes where entering and coming up the stairs. A lot of that had to do with the headboard being in the wall next to the stairs though. Using the 3 L’s of real estate and the updated rooms, you should enjoy this property. "

The hotel is beautiful, well located for accessing Rome’s key districts and has views of St Peter’s Basilica which is pretty special. "The hotel santa maria, 5 stars is not enough for how great the place is. Right in the heart of the Trastevere area but provides a tranquil and quiet retreat until you are ready to venture out. The courtyard is lovely, and the staff are really helpful. This is a stay we will treasure and will definitely go back to the next time in Rome."

"This place was amazing. If you really want to soak up the Italian experience, stay here. Restaurants and bars everywhere. Very safe and authentic. Parking can be difficult."
