"I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a city break in Rome. The staff at this hotel could not have been more helpful. They made contact with me within 15 minutes of making my booking, after which I requested twin beds in one of the rooms since my sons were travelling with us. The rooms are clean, and decorated in a modern style, with modern double glazed windows. Tea, coffee, kettle and a fridge (mini bar) also provided in the rooms. The buffet breakfast offers just about everything you could need to set you up for a busy day of sightseeing. The location is extremely convenient for visiting the Vatican and fine for walking to all the attractions in the city. We did not use public transport all week! Would definitely consider booking this hotel again if we return to Rome. "

"The hotel santa maria, 5 stars is not enough for how great the place is. Right in the heart of the Trastevere area but provides a tranquil and quiet retreat until you are ready to venture out. The courtyard is lovely, and the staff are really helpful. This is a stay we will treasure and will definitely go back to the next time in Rome."
