"The only thing that could have been better is if I had headed the words of the host, “use his written directions” do NOT use your GPS. We drove in at night, it’s hard to see out there at night. The GPS had us on the other side of the mountain, at the end of a dirt road. The host came out in his truck to come and try to rescue us. Very kind. "

"Loved staying here! The home was well-furnished, spotless and had lots of nice touches. A lovely fenced-in yard included comfortable couches (with throws) a gas firepit, gas grill and a beautiful garden. The coffee bar was equipped with delicious coffee, half and half and an assortment of sweeteners. The french press made perfect coffee, so we didn't use the drip coffee machine. Lots of fluffy towels, good shampoo, conditioner and lotions, and a full-size washer and dryer were appreciated. ...

The furnishings seemed to have been picked to create a cosy, relaxing home that has everything you need to step away from daily life. It’s quiet, with stargazing opportunities, and rambles around the rural, artsy neighborhood. The host makes a great neighbor..friendly but not intrusive. We’d go back in a second! "

I texted with the Vacasa help desk multiple times on Thursday with a promise that someone would come out that day to fix the water heater. No-one arrived. "The house is in a very poor location, we didn’t have any issues but the whole town looked very poor. No restaurants nearby or grocery stores (there is a family dollar) so come prepared to cook all your meals, which we did thankfully so all was good. The home was nice and clean. We had a few issues with the water but it was remedied quickly. Over all it was a great trip and it accommodated our family of 11 and one infant just fine. We went skiing at Sipapu for 3 days and sledding down a hill...

"We happened to hit a snowstorm just right and had a great weekend skiing at Sipapu. Our hosts had a nice cozy fire going for us when we got there, and they even gave us some tokens for discounts at one of the wineries nearby.One little piece of advice - cell service is pretty bad up there, so be sure to have the door code saved somewhere, because you may not be able to pull up the app. The wifi works great though, once you get in!"

"This place was amazing. We would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to escape for a romantic get away. It was private, quiet and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The master bed was super cozy and warm. The decor was museum like and we never tired of looking at the many very pretty and cool items throughout. We would very much like to return one day. "Overall an enjoyable stay. Our group enjoyed the large kitchen, lounging by the fireplace, and working puzzles on the dining room table. Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. Older, charming, traditional adobe with low ceilings (several head bumps for our 6'-2" folks). Some furnishings could use a bit of freshening up. As others have noted some sort of critters are periodically active above the ceilings. Baseboard heating lacks room by room control, so sleeping temperatures in bedrooms vary...
