"Located close to the beach and resturants in Platanias.About 10 minute walk to beach. Lots of resturants in even closer but up hill so would not suit everyone. Bus to Chania available from main street. Apartment was clean and spacious. It was cleaned and towels changed daily. Nice pool area with sunbeds. Efi and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. Efi was very helpful before our stay and booked us taxi to and from airport. Hope to visit again"

"Outstanding property and service! The breakfast was the best I've had in Greece! The pool is clean and modern and they had free parking. The service was perfect. Highly recommend you stay here for touring Chania and the West Coast of Crete. Not too far from Balos Beach or Chania."

"We were disappointed in the beach and surrounding facilities. It is an extremely large area so other parts of the beach may be different. There was only one beach bar at night that only served frozen pizza, so unless you did a big drive it was very limited. We didn’t want to drive up the steep roads again. The hotel is very clean but basic. It’s lovely to hear the sea at night with the doors open! "

"We loved our stay here and would absolutely come back! Beautiful view from the balcony, super clean, AC was perfect, lovely lighting, thoughtful design, and stunning patio. The host was really lovely and responsive and there were so many sweet little cats!! I would reccomend staying here. We had a rental car so it was easy to get to, but I think it might be a bit tougher to reach without one. Plus the closest supermarket where we got picked up for a tour was about a 20 min walk away. "We had a lovely time staying at Villaggio Mare Suites. The apartment was the perfect size for us, the bed was really comfy and shower was good. The pool and sunlounger area was great, and I loved the fact I got the pool to myself a few times when it was quiet. The staff were friendly and the location was also great, a few minutes walk from the beach and near lots of nice restaurants and shops. The only improvement we could think of would be that the kitchen could have had some other basics like...
