"My stay at Cottage Lodge was short and sweet (2 nights). The check-in was welcoming, enhanced by a lovely cup of tea and cake. The room (William 1st) was very spacious with all the basic amenities, e.g. coffee-making facilities, towel warmers, heater, hairdryer etc. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and delivered with a smile. Highly recommend and hope to be back with friends in the spring or summer. "

"Bit of a pain having to check into a different hotel before going to the one I actually booked. But for the price it was fine, clean and tidy. Very noisy though with traffic outside and people walking about on creaking floorboards and every door slamming. "

"Little Robins Gate is amazing for a peaceful getaway. We had the spa room and the jacuzzi was great. The room was spotless and had some nice personal touches. Will definitely be staying again in the future."

"Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."
