"Excellent property, spacious and located in a great area to walk to so much. Only issue was no AC, which was expected, but not enough fans. The property could use ceiling fans or more portable fans as it was very warm during the day and bery warm on a few evenings. "

We stayed during Christmas Market and it was a good base to pop back to when we needed to off load shopping or have a rest. "Stayed in a 1 bedroom family apartment. A period property that has been stylishly decorated. Comfortable bed with plump pillows and quality bed linen. Daughter said could feel springs in pull out sofa but not too much to grumble about. A great position off the Clifton triangle so walk pretty much anywhere with lots of restaurants nearby. "Great, centrally-located property. The appartment was modern, clean &spacious. The staff were friendly & helpful. I had a room above the pedestrianised area which meant there was a bit of noise from people leaving the pubs but it soon died down. I'd stay again."

"Overall the stay was good. The accommodation was clean, shower is powerful and bed is comfortable. The only thing was breakfast cancelled and pub was closed for the entire stay which means no food or drink nearby. They called and told me the day before check in so I couldn’t book elsewhere. "

"City centre location was amazing. Our apartment 10 had amazing view of the city as it towers over most buildings. Everything you need is there. Really easy check in and out . Commutation was great from lovey staff. We had a phone call the day before and after we check in. "

"We had a great stay at The Old Fleece. The apartment is spacious with everything you require and fairly priced for 2 bedrooms. The living area was a great space for relaxing in the evening as we put our 2 year old to sleep in the bedroom. The pub downstairs served us great food and we could even take pints back up to our room to watch the football. "

Comfy and quiet Christmas digs!

"It was a lovely and quiet stay whilst we visited family for Christmas. The bed was so comfortable and is one of the few places that has a super king bed and affordable prices. Also, the shower is HEAVENLY! We also enjoyed the diner! Super friendly staff!"

"Always a treat to stay at Tortworth Court so we thought we’d treat ourselves before Christmas. We stayed on Sunday 22nd December snd had lunch with Dsnta even though we have no kids. The food was excellent especially as there was such large crowds. Then the Chase Fireworks. We worried the hotel would be trashed by do many people walking in the mud then coming inside but the hotel was impeccable the falling day. Amazing "

"Previously stayed here and it’s on our ‘go to’ list for when we need to be in the area for work or visiting friends and family who live in the area and stretching down to Highbridge, so it’s convenient being next to the M5. As always, warm welcome from reception, hotel looks and smells fresh and clean, hotel room clean and some deep cleaning over a quiet period would bring it to sparkling. Bed lovely and firm, bedding crisp and good quality and good pillows. The service area is behind the hotel with Waitrose, Burger King, KFC and WH Smith plus Starbucks. Handy to pop to on the odd occasion. Not a luxury ‘away’ break but a very comfortable and pleasant ‘need to’ break. We opt for room 31 where possible as it has an easy accessible bath and space to move around the bed ……. Helps with my mobility issues; which are not severe but it makes things pleasant for me. Will be staying here again in future without doubt. "
