"I found this hotel / villa with VIP Access searching through Expedia’s website. It is a hidden gem for those looking for a serene and beautiful environment (with views of vineyards and expansive landscapes). There are bed & breakfast type rooms in the main house, or multi-bedroom villas near the main house. We had a spacious 3 bedroom “house” (Moscatel) with its own courtyard, and a spacious living & dining area on the first floor, and a full European-size refrigerator and kitchen. The hotel is easy to find with Google Map even though it is located within the Parque Natural da Arrabida; it is easy access to Setubal town (a 10 minute drive), grocery stores, beaches, and beautiful scenery. You experience the true Portugal being in a place like this. I realized upon arrival this hotel is part of the Small Luxury Hotel collection and it is truly reflected in the ambience and services. The staff were all wonderful, being very attentive to all our needs. Jose & Joao welcomed us upon arrival, and helped us settled immediately around noon (even though official check-in was not until much later). The Zimbral restaurant onsite has a nice diverse menu selection for dinner, and prices are reasonable for its quality and ambience. There is a walking /biking path on the property; the hotel has only 2 bikes for rent (so reservation is encouraged). You can email the hotel through Expedia messaging; the staff is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend a stay here."

" The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were young people which was quite refreshing. They were so willing to answer our questions and make suggestions. Parking was fabulous just outside the entrance. Breakfast was provided and it was fine with some decent choices. There was a elevator which made it easier with luggage. Good area and convenient walking to restaurants. Hotel room for 3 was very comfortable. Good in every way except the noise from repairs that were going on. Mercifully they stopped at dinner time. We would happily recommend (minus the noise). "

"I had a wonderful time staying here. The view for the breakfast buffet is amazing. I also enjoyed the cultural center across the street where I was able to see a play for 10 euros then walk over and have a nice dinner. The room was clean and modern and restful. The staff were excellent with everything I could possibly need. I will absolutely come back in the future. "

"Stayed in Setubal for the first 2 nights of our Portugal visit and Rio Art Hotel was one of 2 recommended to us by friends. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, giving us great suggestions on things to visit, where to eat, and where to park for the best price. The included breakfast had a good variety of options. The location downtown was perfect for our needs. "
