"The property is well maintained and centrally located. Very clean. But…. The stairs to the 2nd floor are a nightmare!! Irregular depth and height, and the curvature at the top makes getting suitcases up dangerous at best. There is no AC but the fan sufficed for an early October stay. My husband had to watch several YouTube videos to work out the complex coffee maker which was annoying. Finally the hot water only lasts about 4-5 minutes in the shower. Overall, an okay stay but would t do it...

"The apartment needs a coat of paint where the paint has been rubbed off on some doors and the walls in places. The bottom of the shower unit leaked causing water to go on the bathroom floor. The space around the bed in the main bedroom is rather tight and the wood frame expands into the limited space. We could have lived with these small problems but the noise from the flat above was awful and went on late into the night so we were unable to sleep. It sounded like furniture being dragged...

"Very nice small place. We loved it right away. We had everything we needed to prepare our meal except for an oven but we managed fine. We also loved being in the city center, it’s quite nice to visit. Parking ain’t easy but we found a free street parking first day and second day we paid for one. The only negative point is that it is NOT sound proof between the floors. If you have a neighbour on top floor, you will know without a doubt with kids running, chairs moving…etc"

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil que Nuno nous a réservé. La maison correspond bien à la description ainsi qu'aux photos de l'annonce, néanmoins il faut savoir qu'il s'agit d'un hébergement un peu atypique, l'appartement est situé à l'étage intermédiaire d'une grande maison divisée sur 3 étages. Les chambres n'ont pas de fenêtre directe vers l'extérieur mais ce n'était pas du tout un problème car le salon est très lumineux. L'appartement dispose de tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour...

"The place was wonderful. The views are spectacular. And our host let us check-in a few hours early. Clean. Tidy. The only downside was that the second bathroom had just a shower and sink, no toilet. Then again, there was a second bathroom! Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won't regret a moment."

"The apartment was centrally located near many restaurants and the beach. Beautiful view from the balcony. Very clean and description was accurate. Owner was very responsive. The food & wine in Sesimbra was wonderful. If you plan to go to the beach, bring a beach blanket or chair. Important note - to get to the apartment there are at minimum 2 flights of stairs. "Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun."
