"This place is outstanding for quiet relaxation and just down right beautiful. Its so unique we highly recommend staying there. The owners and staff are super nice and attentive. Food is superb. Restaurants around it are excellent. "

"Wonderful find for a one night stay. Pros were the pool and pool area, close to. Lucca proper, clean and large room, and excellent air conditioning. Cons were that there was no breakfast even though they're listed as a B&B, no room safe and a shower that worked well. But even with these minor cons, I would totally stay again. Yes the rooms are older but no matter. The staff were excellent, bed was comfy and did I mention how much I loved the pool!? Thank you for a great stay. "

"La Ninfa è davvero un bel posto dove stare. È una dimora storica, ristrutturata con gran cura e oggi di grade confort. Offre una sosta elegante, romantica e dall’atmosfera familiare. La colazione nella veranda a picco sul torrente offre una vista mozzafiato. Consiglio."

The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. "We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!"

"Per quanto riguarda il cibo a colazione c’è varietà ma poca attenzione per gli intolleranti o senza glutine .pranzo e cena non è un gran che La struttura non ha aria condizionata. Ci sono cimici che entrano in camera e le trovi ovunque. La spiaggia ha un bar ma non offre colazioni o pranzi e gli orari di apertura e chiusura sono scomodi apre alle 9 e chiude alle 19. Non offrono divertimento , non c’è musica . Bagno non adatto a giovani "

"Hotel ha una posizione strana nel senso che in linea d'aria non è lontano dal mare parcheggio dell'hotel piccolo ma vicino c'è un prodso parcheggio gratuito. Classico hotel old style Italia. Carina la veranda per la colazione/aperitivo fuori. Personale estremamente gentile e cortese."

"This is a truly beautiful house with long views down to Lucca and olive groves all around. It is well-furnished and we slept really soundly. Massimo, the host, is extremely gracious and offers many great ideas for local activities and day trips, and once you find it the local supermarket is very well stocked.
