" Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress.There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep."

"We stayed in Heathcliff House for a couple nights in August and had a very pleasant stay. Alex and Stacey were both really welcoming and the breakfast was lovely which catered for vegetarians (a huge factor for me!). The car park was also a bonus for us, however the beach and town centre were both in walking distance and public transport very close by too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay 😊"

"A great spot with stunning views across the bay towards Exmouth, also privileged to see beautiful sunrises in our seaview room. The room was clean and comfortable and our host was available if needed but not intrusive. Breakfast was more than adequate in quantity and the quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent. I can't fault it at all, we had a three night stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B."

"A lovely clean and friendly place to stay. Very comfortable beds, nice decor, ample amenities for us. Lin, who runs this business is incredibly warm and attentive. She offered additional fresh chilled milk or water from the fridge conveniently located in the pretty dining room and asked if we wanted breakfast or some lunch. This hotel is so well placed for short walk to St Marychurch attractions or Babbacombe Theatre and restaurants. Also close to sea and famous Oddicombe Beach with cliff...

"Ericka, the proprietor, could not have made our stay more pleasurable. This property is beautiful as is, but the care and concern she showed us (we booked two separate rooms) was amazing. The cooked breakfast was excellent as well. This is a place that makes walking in to town easy or you could just sit in one of the outdoor spaces and admire the garden."

"Woww is all i can i say about our stay. We had a fabulous night. Peter was just the best host ever. He has a wonderful caring nature and really delivered a wonderful experience. The hotel is gorgeous and probably the best comfortable room we have ever stayed in. To top it all off the breakfast was astounding with a huge selection of continental fare. My cooked English breakfast was beautiful as was my wife's eggs royale. I am so pleased we have found this gem of a place and plan to visit...
