"We had a lovely room with an ensuite bathroom. The place has great character and excellent service from Ada and her colleague. Very helpful. There was some noise from the lane but that quieted down not too late in the evening. We loved our stay here. We highly recommend!"

"This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport."

"The host is excellent, the property is wonderful, spacious parking for six vehicles inside an anient iron and brick fence, ancient house with gorgeous and spacious interior, high ceilings, balcony with a spectacular view of the Tuscany countryside, and a fourteen minute drive from paid parking in the historic city center of Siena. Unbelievably, incredibly wonderful place! Wish I could have stayed for longer. "

"Great property in center of the city, if you have a hard time walking this city is not for you, have to park outside the city and haul bags to and from the hotel, other than that the staff was great and the city is going back in time. Also call ahead to give time of arrival."

"Very nice and unique accommodation. Very comfortable. Elena and staff very friendly and helpful. Superb restaurant extremely well decorated and wonderful food. Meal was reasonably priced. Great Italian breakfast. Beautiful surroundings. Mountain town of Scarlino very interesting with fortress on top. Lots of history. Didn't use pool as we didn't stay long enough and it was October."

"On s'est sentis comme chez nous directement. La convivialité des propriétaires était très agréable. L'endroit est calme, reposant et ressourçant. Un endroit à connaitre et des personnes à rencontrer! L endroit est très bien situé et proche de tout (mer, Florence, Sienne... ) Nous y retournerons dès que possible. ;)"

"B&B in un delizioso paese in collina con bellissima vista. Un pò disagevole (ma non poi tanto!) la presenza di doccia e lavandino in camera e le scale senza ascensore per i bagagli, ma per il resto silenzio, pulizia ma soprattutto gentilezza al top. Buona colazione servita con garbo ed in un ambiente elegante ma familiare con il fantastico gatto Filippo che fa compagnia. Ottimo il cappuccino!!! "Room was exactly as described. The view was breathe-taking. Too narrow a window for check-in (2-4)pm, especially when arriving by train and trying to find the ever elusive taxis in Siena. There are 3 flights of stairs to handle and no elevator, but this is typical for older hotels in Italy. WiFi would have been nice."

"Mieliśmy bardzo udany listopadowy pobyt w cichym, czystym i cieplym miejscu , pośród toskańskiej przyrody,, z dala od miejskiego hałasu który mamy na codzień mieszkając w dużym mieście. Jedyne czego się obawialiśmy tylko że będzie trudno znaleźć domek, jako że przejeżdżaliśmy późno wieczorem ale mapy prowadziły doskonale a sama posiadłość była oświetlona i nie było w związku z tym żadnych problemów z trafieniem tam"

"The view outside the balcony is beautiful as you can see the duomo and a large part of Siena. The rooms lack area to hang your coats but there is a cupbroad. There is no kettle in the room but there is a vending machine area where you can get water and snacks"
