"This was our first ‘extended’ family trip. Eight of us in total, 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 2, 6, 9, 15). The house and outside area was fantastic and fit for purpose. There was plenty of room so we didn’t feel on top of each other. Fantastically stocked kitchen, has every utensil and pot you’d need. Enough beds/bedrooms and bathrooms. "It's a good value cottage in a good location just a few minutes from National Park and close to Whakapapa. It could do with a good spring clean, but you can't argue the price. Previous guests could've done more to clean like empty the bins properly, but overall would recommend and the description was accurate! Thanks for having us."

"The chalet was the perfect stay for us to explore Tongoriro National Park. The park turnoff was 15 minutes away. The National Park town has numerous dining options with a number of places that have incredible outdoor views. The turn is small and walkable and very safe and quiet! The chalet was well equipped with comfortable beds and also has great views of the surrounding areas and the volcanoes along with Mt Doom from Lord of the Rings!
