"From the Torridon Guest House we walked to all restaurants; to shopping areas, along the Ness River, to Botanical Gardens and cathedral. Our hosts, Russell and Ellen were gracious and Russell was helpful in providing historical and sites to visit in the area. Our room was comfortable and quiet."

"We were a big party of 10 and we had a great time staying with you guys. We did ask on the second morning if we could all eat breakfast in the conservatory area and were told no we had to sit at our allocated tables, this did seem a bit strange but it did not detract from our enjoyment . Mark is a marvellous host "

"Got the personal tour from Gail. Had the delux double which was very spacious and well equipped. Anything you need was available ether already there or just ask and all staff cheery n helpful. Great value for money and lovely fresh butcher supplied cooked breakfast. Sadly was a flying visit, but highly recommend for a single night or longer stay."

"Paul was amazing! The place was cozy and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. Very easy walk into the main strip for dinner. They were also very helpful and accommodating when it came to my disabilities! "

"The staff is very friendly. The carpet in the room is very dirty. There isn’t A/C in the room. The bathroom has a corner shower, which is very small. The showerhead is low pressure and it doesn't release Enough amount of water. There is a aroma of curry everywhere."

"The Silverstrands Guest House provided us with our best stay while in Scotland. The hosts were very helpful and seemed to predict every one of our needs. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. They have several fresh cooked options and/or you can help yourself to a lovely variety of breakfast items including Greek yogurt, croissants, fresh fruits, toasts and cereal. "We loved our stay here. The location was convenient; the room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was tasty; and most of all, the hosts were amazingly hospitable. Due to our original flight being canceled, we checked in later in the day than we anticipated, and the host was gracious and understanding. We also forgot to bring a power converter (we traveled from the U.S.), and the hosts let us borrow theirs until we were able to buy one locally. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"Loved the villa, 3 negatives, the villa could do with some vacuuming, dog hair everywhere, there’s not enough cooking pot and pans( a small frying pan and small pot) and check in at 5pm(too late!)."

"Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend. "

"Everything was great. Good breakfast, location and comfortable beds. The only feedback is we stayed in room 29 and the door lock was faulty so we had to put the chair against our door and leave it unlocked all night. We was only staying 1 night so it wasn't a huge deal."

Fantastic stay.

"Beautiful garden room, very friendly staff beautiful surroundings and close to city centre. Restaurant was lovely, we had a slight issue with our mains but we're offered a dessert on the house to make up for it. Can't fault the place and will definitely be booking a return visit. We had a lovely but noisy dog in the room next to us but could only hear her barking when on the patio. No noise when in the room."
