"This property was an absolute dream. Fantastic views of Loch Ness, walking distance to Urquhart Castle, spacious, quiet, peaceful and clean. It was a bit difficult to find for the first time in the dark as it gets quite dark in Scotland, but that was more due to my unfamiliarity with the area than the instructions that were given. "The house was fantastic; we really enjoyed staying here. It was great to light a fire and play card games in the living room while it was freezing cold and snowing outside. The view was awesome. We had a little trouble finding the place in the dark, with signs covered in snow. Maps sent us a couple houses down, but it was a fantastic place to stay. "

Veronica was a communicative and helpful host from the get go and really went the extra mile by putting up some Christmas decorations up for us before we arrived. "The house is absolutely lovely, and very well stocked. For a family group of 6 from the US, ranging in age from 6 to 80, we had everything we need to cook for a few nights. Great spices, olive oil, vinegar -- even coffee, tea, and a bottle of wine. The stay was delightful, and Nethy Bridge is a darling town!!"
