"When viewed on a map, the property looks quite a way from the main strip but it is only a 6 minute walk, mostly on the flat. There is also a small supermarket 3 minutes walk away. Our apartment was nice and quiet and had everything needed for our week’s stay with a good sized patio area leading onto the swimming pool. We would definitely return. "

"We stayed on a half board basis at the Beatriz in late March. We have stayed here on a number of occasions in the past. The hotel is well located near the Centro Commercial in Matagorda. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and cleanliness very good. The food, though quite good, was not as good as I found it in the past. I have however a number of suggestions which I would like the hotel to consider: 1. Publish the dinner menu each day either by displaying it on a notice board or online so...

"A great holiday was ruined by no water being available on the last day of our holiday which meant no opportunity to shower or clean up before we went home at 4pm. No alternative given or no recompense to compensate for the inconvenience left a bitter taste in the mouth and a tainted view of our holiday "

"Our second stay at this property and despite it being just before a refurbishment this time, it was a lovely experience with plenty to do for the kids, easy to access other parts of the island and courteous staff that made it easy to holiday there as a single parent. The gym facilities are ok but not great - they did just fine with some creativity. Some confusion initially with dining as it wasn't clear that there was a team that worked out seating for you - their access point was a bit hidden...
