"Good hotel. Does need some input regarding the needs of European visitors. In particular the breakfasts because the food which should have been warm/hot wasn't always. There was often a lack of glasses, plates, cutlery etc, that necessitated them being requested. Everything is there to bring it to an acceptable level, just better staff training required in that area. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were well equipped and of a good size. Recommended."

"Not what I expected. The hotel is very run down, with very little to offer any foreign guest. English is spoken by only a handful of colleagues. It took 72 hours for my laundry to get done a far cry from the day service assured when it is collected. I checked out and waited to have my laundry delivered to my next hotel. A stressful encounter I could have done without."

"No heating in room and very difficult to get a portable heater. Some Hotel staff bordering on being stupid. Great breakfast and service in breakfast area. WiFi very slow. There must be better choice in Guangzhou "
