The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. "The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "We had a spacious, well presented and clean gîte. The home is tastefully decorated, lots of interesting decor! The kitchen was incredibly usable for making full meals or sides to accompany grilled meats - we did leave BBQ tools for other guests to take advantage of!
