"We spent four comfortable days in the lovely self-contained apartment above Carol and Philip’s home. The two bedrooms were well appointed with plenty of hangars in the closets, heating that we were able to adjust ourselves on a couple very cool nights, and views onto their beautiful garden. The shower room was separate from the WC, a great convenience, and the front sitting room had a TV, books to borrow, and lots of information flyers about Normandy. "Property was basic, but functional. It was very central which is its best selling point. In need of decoration and modern makeover."

"Extremely hot with opening ground floor windows as only option for relief. People walking by looked in. Only way to get relief at night was same……nit a very safe way to sleep. We left early and would definitely never use again. We knew there was no ac but had no idea there would be no air flow or a safety issue when using windows. We left a day early and was able to get into our Paris room (with ac) a day early."

"It was not clean, cooking ware well used, bedroom difficult to access, awkward stairs to reach 4th floor and found the photos deceptive. The location was definitely the highlight and Julien was prompt enough "

"The apartment is exactly as the photos. Very well equipped and things like salt, pepper, sugar, oil etc and a selection of coffee and tea. Quality furniture and accessories throughout. I would stay there again."
