The room was a little dated but had all we needed and was well maintained and clean which is more important than the era of furniture (think 1990s pine era). "Lovely room, really nice bathroom fit out. Excellent quality tea, coffee, orange juice etc in the room. Nice variety of self serve breakfast to get when you want. Room was quite loud above the pub until it closed at 11 at night. Overall lovely stay and great value. "

"Staed one night. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady. Very informative and friendly. Room 14 was a bit dated and tired. Bed not that comfortable but huge ! Pillows ok but one too little and 2 too much. Did not sleep well. Could hear every noise from people next door. Paintwork throughout hotel could do with a refresh. Carpets very worn in places. Service and food in restaurant was very good even though they were busy."

"Booked myself and my black Labrador in for 3 nights. Spacious room, nice decor and very clean. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The full English breakfast was spot on with good quality items. (Thank you Ben). All the staff were engaging and very helpful. Great value for money! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again should I be down that way again."
