"Annual girls trip; expectation of relaxation and fun. Upon arrival the Lodge was clean, new carpets, clean walls, new kitchen and well appointed/decorated throughout- looks can be deceiving. Preliminary walk around and checks found there was no fire alarms, fire blanket and no Welcome pack or inventory list of what to expect or where to go for emergency planning. "Beautiful cottage in a great village location on the outskirts of Lincoln. The cottage is very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The only negative being the busy road to the front of the property. This is only a minor negative which wouldn't prevent us from staying here again. Franny the host couldn't be faulted for the service she provided."

"We had a really nice little break as a family, but there were a few things that were a little disappointing given the fact the house appeared on paper to be high end. We arrived with excited kids to find the hot tub was not switched on, so this took 24 hours to heat. A real shame when you only have a short break.
