"I stopped for one night on business and found it to be a real gem. Lovely friendly team and amazing restaurant with high end menu choices and very well cheffed food. It was Tuesday evening and they looked fully booked for food which said a lot to me. Great selection of beers too. Parking on site was free and had a lovely breakfast in the morning nd great chat with the owner in relation to its aerospace connections. Overall would stay again 100%"

"Key collection was very straight forward, house and room very clean and comfortable. Cake on arrival a nice touch. Prosecco and chocolates for valentines and extra special thought! Unfortunately breakfast times very short and early for the weekends so didn’t have breakfast on the Saturday (parkrun timings didn’t allow and didn’t work out how to arrange early breakfast until it was too late). Shower in the cupboard was quite strange but once we had worked out how to get in and out it was...

"Lovely spacious room. Comfy bed. No one on reception when we got there on Friday Dec 27th but after ringing a phone number and leaving a message we were greeted by the owners son. We were asked if we wanted a meal that night or breakfast in the morning which we didnt need. It would have been nice to visit the bar on Friday pm but we found it closed at 9:45pm when we tried to visit it. Maybe it would be open later a different day or in the summer. A pleasant stay if you want to stay in your room."

"Mis-sold this accommodation. This is a house share, with 5 bedroom, but was described as "You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party." on Expedia So I did not stay at Hillcroft."

"Nice place .few points could do with some thought .pillows all very hard. Should have two of each to accomode different needs. For the price (£170) would have expected a decent level coffee offer and maybe a small fridge . As a frequent traveler this would be expected at this price level . Shower dispensers hadn't been filled fully . "
