"We had a fantastic stay at the owl cave hotel. The hotel is in a fantastic location which is a couple of minutes walk from the balloon viewing point in the mornings. The hotel has a balcony area which is great for relaxing in the evenings. The breakfast was amazing. "Great location and terrace for viewing the balloons if you don’t want to walk up the hill to Sunrise Point. Generous, varied and good breakfast but it doesn’t start till 8:30am so you might miss out if you have a morning flight. Friendly staff. I stayed in the largest room, the so-called honeymoon suite, but the bed wasn’t very good, quite creaky, and the sheet was torn and poor quality. I had to ask twice to have it changed. Lovely restaurant next door - Pal’s Kitchen, highly recommend!"
