"We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is big and clean and inviting. The decor is comfortable and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit ( gas ) and the back porch the most. We watched the sun set over the Peaks of otter and the sunrise from the front porch. The owner came over to say hello, and we talked a bit. He was very friendly. We will definately look to stay here again in the future."

"Our weekend at the farm was right after the hurricane came through this area. The owner had the property/farm manager buy a generator the morning of our arrival since a tree fell on the power line. We had plenty of power and water for our stay thanks to their quick efforts! The listing needs to be updated to a 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home. All bathrooms and the kitchen have beautiful fixtures. The setting was very peaceful with very comfortable beds and pillows. We enjoyed a couple of meals down...

It's comfortable it has all of the amenities that are needed and it is centrally located to all the activities that we find fun, hiking, Swimming at Smith Mountain lake, going to winery's meaderys etc. and the beauty that surrounds the house and the orchard just can't be beat.
